I found LUXI in a somewhat unusual way: while planning my trip, I asked ChatGPT to recommend a private driver in Košice for a rather unusual day trip into the Slovak countryside. It recommended LUXI, and I could not have made a better choice.
I gave Miro, the owner, GPS coordinates for a church I wanted to visit. The church wasn’t even listed properly on Google Maps, and I had no address, website, phone number, or even certainty that it was still an operational parish. Without my asking, Miro researched it before he picked me up. When I got into the car, he had already found the parish website, the priest’s phone number, and the service schedule.
When we arrived and found the church locked, Miro called the pastor, explained why I had come, arranged for someone to meet us and unlock the church, and then acted as my interpreter while we were there. Had I simply rented a car and driven myself an hour into the countryside, I would have arrived at a locked church with no way to communicate with anyone. Instead, I had an experience I will remember for the rest of my life.
And that was only part of the day. Miro knew an extraordinary amount about the history of the region we drove through, particularly its WWII history, suggested additional places and activities along our route, and was happy to call ahead and make arrangements.
This went far beyond chauffeur service. Miro anticipated what I would need before I knew I needed it and turned what could have been a very difficult trip to arrange as a foreign visitor into an effortless and memorable day. Truly exceptional service, and one of the highlights of my trip to Slovakia. ChatGPT got this recommendation exactly right.
